Domaine Camille Thiriet, Cote de Nuits Villages 'Deslandes', 2024 SO032425 Pouillon This is no ordinary Crozes-Hermitage:Camille Thiriet and Matt Chittick are among the rising stars of the southern Cote de Nuits, farming organically and plowing some old vine parcels with horses. 'Deslandes' is one of their named Cote de Nuits Villages bottlings, each one a transparent expression of a specific patch of hard limestone hillside. As with all their reds, this is restrained, energetic Pinot Noir made with light extraction and very little new oak, so the site speaks clearly.
